The Oxford Tropical Conservation Expedition to Mexico

The aim the the expedition is to carry out research on how logging affects dung beetle species composition in the forests of Chiapas, and what knock-on effects this has for the ecosystem as a whole. The results will be published in a specific journal. The expedition will last 6 weeks in total, leaving after 9th week of Trinity term 2009 and returning mid-August. Expected costs are £500 per person, and this covers all expenditures including transport, food and accommodation.
